Ayudando al cuidador del anciano: un programa televisivo para llegar a cada casa
[Helping the nurse of elder: a television programme to reach each home]

Resumen
En España el cuidado del mayor es realizado en su mayoría por algún familiar, preferentemente mujer, que lo acoge en casa y que dedica un gran esfuerzo y tiempo en esta tarea. La siguiente experiencia es un intento de ayudar a estas personas a optimizar su labor, para ello se realizaron un conjunto de microespacios televisivos, emitidos por una televisión autonómica, en los que se ofrecía información y formación al cuidador llevando estos contenidos hasta la vivienda del mismo.
Abstract
In Spain, the care of elders is usually taken by families, mainly by women, who take them in and devote a great effort and a long time to this task. The following experience is an attempt to help these people optimize their work. For this purpose, a whole of television programmes were developed -shown by a local television channel- in which some information and training for these nurses of elders were offered, taking these contents to their own homes.
