Una Teoría sobre el Conocimiento Intersubjetivo Implícito

Resumen

Daniel Stern es autor de una teoría de la subjetividad y conciencia prelingüística. Estudia e investiga la relación temprana intentando inferir probables experiencias subjetivas de los infantes en el período preverbal. Toma en cuenta los hallazgos experimentales sobre el desarrollo de la década de los setenta, en conjunción con los fenómenos clínicos derivados de la práctica. Un paso hacia la síntesis del infante observado y del reconstruido por la clínica psicoanalítica. Un serio intento para identificar y rastrear pautas interactivas a lo largo de sus transformaciones evolutivas tomando el sentido de sí mismo como organizador del desarrollo. Stern contribuye a establecer la naturaleza relacional del sí mimo y por medio de estudios “microclínicos” escenarios de los fenómenos relacionales de regulación o desrregulación emocional. Propone y desarrrolla un modelo de psicoterapia de la relación entre padres e hijos con especial acento en lo que define como el present moment de la experiencia intersubjetiva, insistiendo y mostrando que es en esos momentos del diálogo donde descansa el efecto mutativo de la psicoterapia. Lo significativo en psicoterapia son las formas de estar con otros que es lo que puede ayudarnos a reescribir el pasado y el futuro.

Abstract

Daniel Stern is the author of a theory concerning subjectivity and pre-linguistic conscience. He is studying early relationships in an attempt to infer likely subjective experiences of infants in pre-verbal period. He takes into account experimental findings on development in the seventies, in conjunction with clinical evidence drawn from practice. This represents a step forward in the synthesis of the observed infant and the one reconstructed by clinical psychoanalysis. At the same time, this is a serious attempt to identify and track interactive patterns along their developmental transformations based on the sense of Self as the organizer of development. Stern contributes to establishing the relational nature of the Self and the relational phenomena of emotional regulation and deregulation by means of “microclinical actions”. He suggested and developed a model of psychotherapy of the relationship between parents and children, with special attention to what is defined as the present moment of intersubjective experience, highlighting and showing that it is in those moments of the therapeutic dialogue that change occurs. The author shows that what is significant in therapy is our ways of being with others –this is what can help us rewrite our past and change our future.
