La prescripción de tratamientos psicofarmacológicos por parte del psicólogo clínico

Resumen

En el presente trabajo se analizan los repercusiones relativas o una posible autorización para la prescripción de psicofármacos por parte de psicólogos clínicos. Primeramente, se aborda una reflexión sobre los límites de la praxis psicológica y los tratamientos biológicos en base a un modelo integrativo de Salud Mental y sus posibles consecuencias en el plano asistencial. También se discuten los problemas inter e intraprofesionales que la medida podría suscitar. Por último, se apuntan las bases de una formación especializada que asegure una correcta utilización de esta técnica terapéutico

Abstract

The repercussions of o possible prescription privileges of psychopharmacological treatments for clinical psychologists are discussed in this paper. first, a reflection is made about the limits of psychological practice and the biological treatment on the basis of an integrative model of mental health, as well as its possible repercussions in the psychological care. Likewise, inter and intraprofesional struggles that this measure could raise are discussed. The bases for a specialized training that can assure the right use of this therapeutic technique are suggested finally
